Artistic Statement My interest as an artist always focused on human beings and their relationship with one another.
Im often using images of the mass media or sketches done from nature to transform them into structure for my work.
Even though my paintings are made up of identifiable elements, this does not mean the depiction of reality. I gather together fragments from different realities.
Colours have an emotional value for me and are applied in numerous layers. I employ a combination of media: drawing and painting repeatedly interlace. Erato Tsouvala 
Erato Tsouvala. Born in Piraeus, Greece has studied painting, history of art and modern art and has practiced in the laboratory of Greek artist Antonis Politakis. Has also exhibited works in Group exhibitions in Greece, and as of late she has started to promote her artwork abroad. Her work is influenced by Byzantine hagiography, and is full of eroticism together with a quality of naked forms.
